Want to Volunteer?

Cheff is a great place to volunteer. Volunteers do a variety of tasks, from helping instructors to doing office work and supporting special events. There are several volunteer orientation sessions. For more information, call Kim Henning at (269) 731-4471.


Reaching Out: Understanding Autism

Who: Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies providers
What: A one day conference addressing current medical diagnosis and treatments, social understanding, and teaching considerations associated with autism.
Presenters Include: health professionals, education specialists, and individuals who live with autism on a daily basis. Laurel Hoekman from the Gray Center in Grand Rapids will be the keynote speaker.
When: March 28th, 2009

NARHA Certification Prep Clinic

This course is designed for those individuals working towards their NARHA Instructor Certification. This non manditory course is the precursor to the certification held in April and will cover testing material in both the classroom and the arena. This clinic will be held February 28th, 2009 at the Cheff. For further information, contact Jane at (269) 731-4471.
